Dirt Devil may be better known for its vacuum cleaners but it's steam mop packs some good cleaning power too. The Dirt Devil Deluxe Steam Mop might not be as famous as the cleaning device of Shark but it certainly has some better features and a cheaper price tag!
The engineers of this company included some great features when designing their steam device. The mop is 1500 watts so it heats up quickly, in about 30 seconds time. It has an 18 foot power cord, an on/off switch, and indicator lights to let you know that the tool is on and ready.
Carpet Glides
Many may appreciate the unique design of the head on the Dirt Devil Deluxe Steam Mop. While many cleaning devices have long, rectangular shaped mop heads, the mop produced by this company is a triangular shape. This can make it easier to clean the corners. The head is also low profile, which is ideal since it makes it easier to clean underneath kitchen and bathroom cabinets as well as furniture and other tight places.
Some mops designed with steam have the water tank located in the mop head, which makes it bulky and big. The Dirt Devil creation has an easy to fill, removable tank in the body. There is also a water level indicator so you know when the mop needs to be refilled.
The creation of Dirt Devil comes with several accessories. It has two microfiber mop head pads that can be washed in the washing machine. It also has a dusting pad cover too. Another accessory, the carpet glide attachment, allows you to sanitize your rugs and carpets. A fill cup and funnel are also included to make the process of filling the tool easier.
This particular mop produced by such company is not without its faults though. While many consumer reviews for this item were positive, others had negative things to report after using it. Some said that the handle was flimsy and others found the mop hard to push and had issues with the front of the mop raising up off the floor when they pulled it back toward them.
While some customers weren't happy with their Dirt Devil, many still found it lightweight and easy to use especially for the price. And indeed, the Dirt Devil Steam Mop is competitively priced at about - less than many other more popular models and you get a lot of great accessories with it which makes the product a really great option to consider.
